THE ALCHEMIST. LA ALQUIMISTA.

This painting aims to capture the essence of alchemist, through the image of a perfumer artist. The image shows the three versions of the lady, each representing the three stages of alchemy within the Ouroboros: The Raven (dissolution, the descend into darkness), the Black Swam (transformation, the unknown), and the Heron (rebirth, rising a new). It is the symbol of evolution that is reborn endlessly from its own destruction, in an endless movement. This sacred cycle is the heart of alchemy. The perfumer goes to the forest to search got the flowers and plants that she will later transform in the finest perfume. This is a personal transformation that search for the highest potential of the human being.
