MARQUÉS AT FERIA

This work is part of a series of paintings that capture my fascination with Andalusia and its folklore. I have been living on the coast of Granada (Spain) for four years, experiencing the customs and traditions of Andalusia, flamenco, and its nature.

This has led me to portray different people around me, sometimes painting from life and sometimes from photographs, with the goal of capturing all the beauty and strength they exude. Costumbrista painting has always interested me, and in some ways, I continue along this path with contemporary and colorful painting.

This work is painted on canvas with oil paint.
